The Hobbit

This is my favourite book; the first book I ever remember reading; one of the books I learned to read from when I was four and finally read in its entirety when I was five (although I probably didn't properly understand everything until a few years later).
I'm not entirely sure if I will ever be able to review it properly, but with so many thousand of reviews on here, yet another may be superfluous. I may just write down my feelings from it, favourite sentences and moments, and compare them to my childhood reading experiences. We'll see. For now, I'll just simply read it again.
POST FILM: Hugely disappointing. Peter Jackson, what were you thinking?! Back to my beloved book I go, in the hope that it will erase the memory of that ridiculous pale orc from my mind.
